Elstree Screen Heritage and Elstree Town Council have created a walk of fame to celebrate the film and television heritage in Elstree and Borehamwood.

This First Impressions Project marks the official completion of Stage One of this community-based initiative celebrating their unique local heritage as a Centre of film and television productions over the decades

Reg Varney's star in the walk of fame is to the right as you come out the train station near the bus stops. DING DING!'

For almost 100 years, Elstree and Borehamwood have played unique roles in British Heritage as a leading centre for film activity. And now, thanks to an injection of funding from Vibrant Towns Shopping Centre Improvement Fund major plans are being put in to action to celebrate the rich film and television history.
